What would be good to supplement MH?

I have a 2 ft tank with an overhead MH light. I am thinking of supplementing the light with blue lights to aid in keeping softies, SPS etc.

Would a T5 be good? I hope someone can recommend me a specific brand and let me know the price range (and of course where I can buy it).
