US and UK stANdard of gallon

hi guys.

recently while talking to a cuople of reefers, we stumbled across a confusing thing.

when we mentioned gallon, some said its equal to 3.785 some said its 4.54545.

i understand its due to UK and US difference but which is which?

and when looknig at product rating in gallons, issit the US or UK version?

you'd be dealing with US gallon most of the time, unless its a made in EU product. then you have to be careful.

the difference is quite big, if I remember correctly.

1G = 3.79 L (US)
