Anyone has experience of sally light foots spawning? Saw mine spawned last night right after metal halides are turned off. They are about the size of a full stop. Can't really see if the crabs gave birth to live crabs or eggs. Really interesting behavious by the crab. Very much similar behavious to my cleaner shrimps spawning as well.

The white particles are the eggs/baby crabs(not sure which is which) which i managed to take picures of. My clownfishes went into a frenzy...

I think that's enough flow. Maybe others can give some comments too. Some might feel it is too little or too much.

DB and Creetin: Thanks for the encouraging comments guys!... Creetin, still owe you one for your very nice purple monti. Growing very well so far.

nah, e cap has a great home in your tank! Grow, grow!

Decided to take a risk. Bought a brown monti. The polyps are purple though. Hopefully the body will colour up one day.

Background are some of my leftover monti frags. Sold off the mother colony last week coz it was growing too big.

Some side picture. Left side of tank...

Creetin: Decided to frag your purple monti cap too as seen by the overly exposed coral. Hopefully will become a small colony soon.

Erm..I think that should be the overly exposed shot of the purple monti frag you were referring to :) Lousy photographic skills...

I've got no idea what damsels they are. Yup, I think they're really cute. And cheap too. Got them at reborn if you want any.

Bro,

If I am not wrong they are the Azure Demoiselle Chrysiptera hemicyanea.

Max size: 7cm.

Range: Indonesia & North West Australian shelf reefs. :D

Some updates. Very much the same except for a new monti that I got 2 weeks ago and the demise of my purple monti due to flat worms infestation. Got my birdnest colony fragged too...kept a couple of small ones for myself...
