Is Atman 105 pump too powerful for my weipro?

hi guys im using a weipro 2012 but im still deciding with pump to buy .want to get the atman 105 but heard from fellow reefers that it too powerful that it will overskim is that such a thing cause thoguht u guys say more powerful is better ,aslo he advice just buy 104 which is 2000/h . tks for the help guys

i'm using weipro 4000 which is rated 3000L/hr.

btw.... I am not a tech person...but I never believe the more powerful the pump the better your skimmer will work. Best would be check out the recommended pumps or specs for the skimmer you are using. If you want a more powerful version, get a slightly stronger pump.

Atman 105 or 106 will be better. I used to use Weipro 2012 with Atman 104 as well... unable to get very good skimmate. You can check out this link for more info on how to get the best out of yr weipro.... http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/showthre...ighlight=weipro

By the way... that person is using a Atman 106.
