Just bought a new eletric clam (don't know the real name) from LCK lane 9.... BTW, can advise what is the name? The clam is white in shell and have a lot of red hair flaoting outside.... The mouth got electricity one....

I think that is scalops and not clam....

agree too...cos they usually dun last long in tanks...at most 6mths...cos they need nutrient laden water which most tanks are not able to provide...

It is because it requires special nutrients? Saw a flame scallop at LFS... really interesting... but didn't buy cos do not know how to take care of it... anyone knows how?

Usually need to target feed them.

I used to have one which is doing well till 1 day it decided to move into a crevice where I can't reach it...then ... ...

The LFS got a flame scallop for 2~3 years... Quite big.

I also see quite a lot of nice clam in LCK110. Very nice.... Just bought a small one 2.5 inches at 30/= yesterday.
