Helping bro AlfaRomeo.

The Aqua medic Calciumreactor 1000 is a closed system designed for universal use. It can be operated on a bypass system, independent of the water level in the aquarium, or alternatively be installed in the filter sump. It includes a large volume (10 litres or c. 2.5 gallons) of Hydrocarbonate and an integrated circulation pump that features the patented Aqua Medic needle wheel. By adding CO2, the pH value in the Calciumreactor falls and the Hydrocarbonate is dissolved. Even with a low flow rate of 1 to 4 l/hr (c. 0,25 to 1 gph), a large amount of dissolved calcium enters into the aquarium, which is assimilated by the animals.

The Calciumreactor has an integral port to accommodate a PG 13.5 threaded electrode to measure the pH value. Now including Dosing Pump SP 3000 for controlled water flow.

Dimensions - without electrode (l x w x h):

17 x 17 x 54 cm (c. 7" x 7" x 22")

Accessories:

Aqua Medic CO2 complet for CO2 supply.

Aqua Medic pH Computer or Aqua Medic pH Controller c/w pressure resistant pH probe with PG13.5 threaded connection

Hydrocarbonate as refill

Thanks piglet! I upgraded to a much larger CR cos of the number of SPS colonies and also tank size.. Going to add another few hundred litres to my system for my SPS propagation 'project' tank... so total water volume is about 1500L.

BTW, the CR and 2nd chamber total cost if bought brand-new would be in the range of $900-$1000.

Does not come with the dosing pump as I am using it with the new CR :)

>> Does not come with the dosing pump as I am using it with the new CR. Thus, i think AlfaRomeo is keeping his dosing pump.

But it still a great deal !! Just get a dosing pump> cost around $240 or less. Total cost will be> less than $550.. Compare this to brand-new one > more than $700 without 2nd chamber. With 2nd chamber > as what AlfaRomeo stated> will cost around $900 to $1000.

Too bad, i had ordered a brand new aqua medic reactor and will collect it > next week. <_<:(:(

But i think this aqua medic unit has a build-in low watt pump. Thus, the buyer for this 2nd hand CR > just need to get a dosing pump.. :peace:

Super good deal man!! UPZ
