nassarius r scavengers, eat detritus, uneaten food, etc. they dun graze on algae.

yup... scavengers...

bumble bees also belong to this category...

I have several bumble bees in my tank...when there was a dead mexican turbo trapped in a corner, you will see them coming towards it, and the 'trunk' extended very long(measured one at 4cm long) into order to get at the decaying flesh...

Mexican turbo snails are good algae grazers and very much less harmful/disruptive than its cousins...the clumsy trochus and turbos...

is there any other type that resemble this type of snail?

or never mistaken as long as they have the trunk? (bumble (spell) bee also have trunk but of course very different)

No more mexican turbon snails or I would have taken them again...then people will 'curse and swear' at me again...

who who

parasitic snails... what kind of damage will they do to the tank?

any names or pics?

quite like cerith or nassarius except w/o the 'trunks' and obviously not reefsafe...

can't get pics though...solie...
