My torn down 4 footer. Kinda miss planted tanks now.. Pic taken after tank ran for 2 years. Meaning base substrate kinda depleted. Which is why the foreground like a little botak. Used to be a hairgrass paradise for shrimp.

My Cube 2x2x2 Planted Tank in my Study room...

This tank has been with me since 1992... I rescape the tank when I shift to my new house 3yrs ago... most of the fishes are 2-3 yrs old.

Tank Lighting:

4x36w PL

1x55w PL

CO2

Eheim 2228 filter.

Close up of my Favourite Leopard Discus... :lol:

In fact... it is the one 1 discus that I have... ops!!!

It's very tame and it feeds from my hand... ha ha ... just like my kois... :rolleyes:

hmm can i ask a question... do all of u guys put base substrate below your gravel or do u put in the cubes of fert into the gravel?

i had a planted about a year ago and gave up because everytime i want to change the plants in my tank, all the base substrate would all come to the surface! :erm:
