The coral you posted does not take phytoplankton. It needs meat-based foods. Phytoplankton is more for sea fans, and other filter feeders like tubeworms, scallops, etc.

Always something more important than fish.

just wonder.. this guy seems the stationary type so in the wild how does it get the meaty food...hmm :erm:

so market prawn still needed...

They extend feeding tentacles during the night (after lights off). These will actually catch drifting zooplankton in the wild, which can be substituted with prawn in captivity since most zooplankton in the wild are made up of crustacean larvae. ;)

Always something more important than fish.
