just becareful...i don't think you can submerge the motor in water and they are not meant to run 24 hours.....you would not want to burn down your house....

yah.. thats true... thing in the car are all desigh for their special function... so i dun thin that will last .. worse case is that the motor will burn ..

Thank for the concern.... my idea is have the rotating motor out of the tank with a extender or something. Then use a powerhead to attach firmly to the rotating extender...... I had seen quite a few postings that the submerge rotating powerhead stop rotating after a while.... that's prompt me to think of this u c.

i see... like that u will need a dc adapter to run the motor but .. i guess the motor will spoil very soon ..

becoz i'm in the car industry .. so i noe that the motor life of all this components are just enuff for their usage in the car only .. so maybe after 2 mth .. or so .. it will burn out liao ..

i have tested some aircon fan motor and they faill in just 2 weeks ..

hm.... thanks for telling this.... never consider the fact that it has to work 24/7..... maybe just build to test out.... 'cos no need money mah :D
