reccomend skimmer please

hi... can anybody reccomend me a good protien skimmer...... no budget.... but cheaper better....

my tank is (3feetx18inchx18inch)+(3feetx18inchx18inch)+(2 feet lou han tank used as a sump)

i am planning to pack one of my tank with SPS and the other one with LPs and softies....... so can anybody recommend any good skimmers...... thanks

it will be better if u can say what ur budget is like? new or 2nd hand skimmer? H.O.T or in-sump?

Try to look out here, some bros selling Weipro 2012. Its quite okie for budgeted people ..... price around $20 withour pump .....

if u have a big budget and a big space, i suggetst go straight for becketts...it seems like everyone "believes" that it is the mother of all skimmers..

i've seen sps tanks with H&S(a lot), AquaC remora (TOTM winner) and even weipro 2013...so it a matter of wat's your budget...

even pple with beckett skimmer can also have mishaps..doesn't mean that if u have 10 H&S skimming your tank, your tank will be the best...

in my opinion, its how u like to maintain your tank...i've been running my tank (LPS) without skimmer for about 8mths already...no chiller as well...but i dun have any problem with algae, nitrate nor phos..but i still think tat skimmer is important...

I can second that! Have used 2 different models and keeping another. really happy with the built and performances
