My cheapo 3x1.5x1.5

Hi gang, decided after some success with SPS, to post my tank pix. Me gonna upgrade to a 3x2x2.5 LHW in Nov, so who knows if all the livestock will die in the transition...

Specs:

- 3x1.5x1.5ft main and 2x1.5x1.5ft sump tanks

- 4xT5 39W Aquablue Special (ATI)

- 2xPL55W 17KK (Dymax) ....lights DIY in a crappy aluminium reflector casing

- AquaC Remora Pro skimmer

- DIY 2 chamber Calcium Reactor (by Killfire - thanx bro)

hi wedgee. wow!!! nice looking tank. more packed than my tank b4 it crashed.

from ur pixs, some of the sps, esp some staghorns hv not reached their full color potentials yet. u might wanna give some considerations to some of the clams on the sandbed and the monti on the top right hand corner. might not be receiving enuff lights. another thing i noticed is that ur 2 returns r aiming direct at ur sps? i might be mistaken. did not noticed any wavemaking device in ur tank too. care to share?

but really a very beautiful tank.

Thanx lightning, hope to see u make a comeback soon - i remember yr tank was a fantastic one too! Ya its squeezed to the brim now, partly cause i'm using T5s and cant lower the sps, so i gonna sell some of them away...

As for yr comments, the monti u talkin abt is the orange cap? I frag the dude often, so it doesnt affect the surrounding corals much, even tho it grows really fast...

The 2 returns on the right are from a SCWD hidden above, and the left one is from the sump return and is pointed diagonally, not harming anything...

Surprisingly, the 2 blue maxis on the rockwork are not fussy abt having T5 at all, and are keeping their coloration, but growing slower than the easier Squamosa on the rite...

Bro dont tempt me leh, I wana keep the lights and save on equipment upgrading, dats why use a 3x2x2.5....Also my new place cant accomodate a 4ft, cause it will block up walking space, so I'm sorta limiting myself hahah...
