Zeovit system put into test

Due to long serving my reservist ....not much full concentration was put to the care

of my sps thus some become brown already..

So decided to test out the zeovit basic system...

hopefully my sps can retain back to its original colour

hopefully can post a picture after the dosage of zeovit

After using the zeovit basic group~~ consist of

zeobak, zeovit and zeofood for two days

I have notice that the water become more clear keke

will update more further changes in my tank~~~

i just reached home ~~ and notice my water again become so much clear again~~ and notice some tips have turn light purple

but overdose will cause STN.....

i think this product is comparable to rowaphos or maybe better in my own view

i tot Zeovit is about bacterial with supplyments to enhance color. It works on a different level compare to rowaphos as rowaphos removes only P04.....also from what i read, the drop in PO4 and NO3 is gradual and happen over about 3 weeks time, so don't think it will cause cause STN....more likely have you monitor your PH level??? did you reach a stage where you see thin green firm on your tank glass as this will be the indication of overdose.....

ZeoBac is the baterial, ZeoFood is to feed the baterial and ZoeVit are a special mix of Zeolit to provide surface for the baterial as well as to absorb amonia and some other compound....

From waht i know Rowaphos remove PO4 in a faster period of time while

zeovit bring down PO4 slowly, so will reduce the stress cause to Sps if i am not wrong, my ph level is around 8.2 - 8.3

i not yet see that green firm on my tank glass

The performance of zeovit also depend on water parameter to bring out

its best peak

Likewise in reef central , different reefers using zeovit bring out different

results also

Andysho, hows the progress coming along after a few weeks of use? Any improvement in health and colouring of the specimens?

i just used it around one week ~~~

so have to wait longer to see any good progress
