I keep 1 green feather star for months liao, only come out at night, day time alway hide, legs of feather star very fragile. My broke off 4-5 pic during handing, but it will slowly grow back. Filter feeder.

recently i jus brought one too from aqua marin... it keep staying on top of the rock under the light...All the leg lays flat on the rocks...the center of the star turn brown color do not know what's happening ..what 's the colour of ur green star at the middle ? does it have a green tube in the center of it...mine seem like rotten alway and become brown colour do not know what happen ..any advise? btw what is filter feeder? i feed him phyphlon

Colour should not change, my is fully green in colour as the same as what i brought. The legs will start to grow with slighty lighter green in colour.

Filter feeder mean that it only take coral food.

Me just bought one taday at pasir ris for 3bucks! HAHA!

Crimson red in color very nice.

When i introduce it to the tank it didnt hide at all, it juz swam to the tallest structure "my algae rock" and juz fixed there the whole day...

Looks nice, broke one of its legs on the way back though. haha! Sad man....

gonna feed it brine shrimp. thats what recommendate by the uncle who sold it to me. haha

feather stars are filter feeders... They dun eat brine shrimp.... Oh yeah we should leave these guy in the ocean
