Apple!! (I am apple-biased as I use a G4 Imac at home)

Hoping to chnage over to the ultra-new G5 Imac. Looks way cool and has a 64bit processor with an OS that fully utilise the capabilities of the chip!

The G4 is shite! It keeps hanging and there is no physical reset button. You can't get at the battery to force a reset too. What a piece of shiny white crap! The sound is horrible too.

Get the Creative or iRiver and skip the silly iPod. It's the worse thing I've ever owned.

i read something along the lines of HP selling its 20GB iPods at $508, while Apple is $548. Is that right?

It also appears that HP's iPods have got fanciful designs on its covers. I wonder if that is really gonna come out in stores?

Actually, the HP iPods will look identical to Apple iPods except the logo. Also, the fanciful designs are special stickers which you stick on the iPod. Stickers can be replaced.

Which G4 are you refering to?

20g G4 iPod. It stinks and the plastic gets scratched easily. The iTunes bundled software looks good but is not as friendly as the Creative Mediacenter.

It does not have a FM tuner built in but you can attach an external one.

I've had my iPod for 2 week and I can't stand it. Had to reset it four times. It's not an isolated problem. My friends get it too.

Have you updated to the latest firmware? There was one about a month after the 4G was released. Also, did you try the off-on-off Hold switch and press + hold Menu button until Apple Logo appears thingy?

Updated. I'mvery familiar with the two button reset thing because I have to do it a few times to reset the iPod. Even the reset function is unreliable! You can only reset if you are able to dock in the iPod, so if you are out and about, thats it. I like the Zen NX because I can take the battery out to force a reset.
