i bought this skimmer and the uncle changed the powerhead that comes with the skimmer......it gave me so much headache for 2 weeks until i accidentally came acros it again at another shop then realised i got cheated....remember to check the powerhead is the same one as the one drawn in the manual

sometimes, some brands' rating r super "buay zhun" (not accurate). take for example the prizm H.O.T skimmer. rated up to 90 gallons. but i tell u, at most it is only good for a 2 or 2.5 footer.

protein skimmers esp. china branded will overrate their capabilities... 180 gallons wld more be like 180L unless u intend to hav an understocked tank

wat is ur highest budget? wat corals do u intend to keep? wat is ur stocking levels like? in sump or hang on? is pump wattage a consideration?

i would like an in sump one.

its used to maintain a fish only live rock tank so no worries on corals
