Mushrooms

Hi. I thk i am facing the same problem. It turn white and slowly melt away. I have change to MH, so far not much of problem. But just not seeing it growing very healthy. Maybe I am comparing my mushroom with Sea****. Their mushroom are very tempting-so BIG!

Maybe the reason is due to ur lights as ur mrooms are not use the sudden change of light ... Give it some time .. They grow fast and soon be a pest under MH ... :D

Let me knoe if they turn pest i will bust them for u if ur is a good speciment .. :)

Danzer if they turn white given time for my case it should recover and gain it colours back . Unless the damage is done badly ..

As for me i do add iodine and for the rest of so called trace elements i just do weekly water change ..

Itis not known to weather strodium promotes growth in corals ..

Called the shop...Got the specs...

1) Normal White 7000K

2) Blue Actinic 4500K Spectrum

Does it ring a bell?

My tank is 4ft. Thanks...

Eh are those FL......... sound like to me...IMO get them change to either PC og MH, Fl are not enough for most coral and to me mushrooms too
