Hi,

anyone outthere with this fish?

is it very difficult to feed? or is it very shy?

I have a pair of them.

they are quite shy creatures....lost one pair due to the two of them deciding to jump out my tank...for whatever reason.

right now, I bought another pair and these two are more boisterous. always like to swim around (=

as for difficulty feeding, I got them whilst they were eating from Marine Life. should have asked Henry how much he had to flood the water with food just to chose which specimen ate.

Just bought this fish 2 days ago. Saw him eating pallets and some frozen brine shrimps. But keep hidding behind the rocks.

Problem is when he swim in the open, tend to raise his head over the water surface, dont know whether is he intending to commit suicide...?

raise his head above water surface is very normal for tilefishes

your tile fish should become a less docile creature after a while. mine allows me to touch it! (=

and it even snatches food from my hand. quite forceful. =(
