Finally came out with my very own dripper... Always wanted to do one but dun have the time to do... So when i was going home today, i chanced acrossed some acrylic sheets that someone threw away... gosh! It was brand new and still have the protective sheets on.. so i brought it home and did something like this... Drilled 3 holes on it...

bro...

wrong already lah brother...

one is a kalk dripper right?

that one must drill hole slightly higher...

you don't want the stuff that hasn't dissolved to get into your tank...

and maybe you can melt and bend the end of the acrylic sheet to prevent it from falling into the tank...

remember kalk dripper bottle should have a cap with a small hole...

Thats' a good point...to have the outlet on a higher level, perhaps on the 'mountian' in the middle of the bottom end. Sediments will result... maybe from some undissolved powder(esp so if your making a saturated solution) or precipitation over time in your mixed solution. Also over a period of six hours or so, you'll see that the solution is no longer "fresh" due to reaction with air... so you may not want to use the no-so-fresh portion of the solution, which will remain at the bottom if you have your outlet higher...

another point for your consideration, perhaps is to have the air tube extend into the water, instead of letting the droplet pass thru' some air space before making a splash on the water.... this may result in some calcifying on the glass panes, etc
