Can keep 3 tangs in the same tank??

CAN PURPLE TANG ,SAILFIN TANG AND SCOPAS TANG LIVE HAPPILT TOGETHER .. THE ADDING PROCEDURE IS FIRST PACIFIC SAILFIN THEN SCOPAS LASTLY PURPLE TANG . Reason is because purple is the most agressive... will this work out ?

dun think can...cause tank should be big cause if they swim abit than see each other they wil get aggressive..n even the peaceful scopas or sialfin also will fight n one wil die

oic yah now mt scopas and sailfin is fighting ... but just staring at each other not seriously fighting ... so adding a purple is not possible ?

All from Zebrasoma family....you can add them in..but expect fights.

Wtat you can do is increase the size of the fish that is intoduced later...

... ... but expects occasional fights and torn fins at the initial intro period

so wat i can do is to add a bigger purple tang la ? currently my scopas and sailfin are only 1.5' big... so young fight already

haha...underage fighting.. 1.5inch?so small?just like my sailfin..purple tang cannot add so big also le if u wna add it..

add yellow then scopas then purple... in ascending sizes... worked for me... they will fight on the first day... after that... peace!

how large is your large? cause so large also cannot le wait if its so comfortable in the tnak n its the biggest i think it will bully...

mine is a 3 by 2.5 by 2 ... fromm wat i read up purple tang is agressive my intended livestocks is one more purple tang and 1 moe flame .. i scare later if i add purple first it will add flame... tang are all gangster ..

Hmm.. i added my purple tang first then my smaller brown tang.. hehe BIG BIG fight the first day... Tyson VS Hollyfield!!! Then next day both shake hands and peace... no more fights till now liao

IMO the more tang you keep, they tend to be more peaceful as compare two just 2-3 tangs. Way of keep more tang, go for though less aggressive and slowly add though aggressive to the last. Just make up your mind, how many tang you wanted to keep (depend on your tank side), If you are thinking of 4 tangs in a tank, This is how i introduce to my tank

1 st ( convict tangs, yellow tang, blue tang , orange shoulder tang, kole tang) size around 3 inch

2 nd ( sailfin tang, brown tang, scopas tang, whitecheek tang, powder brown tang)

3 rd ( Powder blue tang, purple tang, clown tang, naso tang)

4 th ( sohal tang, achilles tang)

Just select 1 and introduce at a time.

IMO 3 feet should not have that many tangs

btw my tangs are all juvenile when they grow bigger i will upgrade wan...
