powder brown

hi, i just bought a powder brown tang.

Its around 2.5" , can anybody tell me more abt this fellow. :D

It seems to be always turning dark brown while swimming around.

dun know anything wrong with him or nt. <_<

No tangs are really reef safe... tangs these days seem to love to pick on brains alot..... Quite a hardy fish but ich prone...

will the problem be solve if i get a doctor fish for him ? :lol:

it seems lik nt interested in my pellet food. how to let him feed?

i scare later it die of hunger :(

Try mysis shrimp or marine flake... They will change their tone of their color throughout the day... It is very hardy and if you dun have ich in your tank... Kept mine for close to a month before my tank crashed...

does mysis shrimp look the same lik the sea monkey ?

then how to keep the shrimp for futher usage? or throw all in at a time ?

Sea Monkey is a marketing gimmick, they are actually Brine Shrimp! ;) Adult Brine Shrimp do not provide enough nutritional values thus most reefers feed Baby Brine Shrimp.

Mysis are Fresh Water Shrimps, they are reported to have higher nutritional values and plus due to the fact that they are Fresh Water, it is belive that they do not harbour parasites that will threaten Marine Fishes. ;)
