Terryz_
Try mysis shrimp or marine flake... They will change their tone of their color throughout the day... It is very hardy and if you dun have ich in your tank... Kept mine for close to a month before my tank crashed... Quote Member of:

Terryz_
You go to most LFS ask for mysis shrimp... They should have... Those tiny white specks on the glass are pods... Foods for your fishes... Quote Member of:
SRC Member nicken Posted August 24, 2004 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 24, 2004 does mysis shrimp look the same lik the sea monkey ? then how to keep the shrimp for futher usage? or throw all in at a time ?
weileong
go LFS and ask for frozen mysis. The LFS wil give you the correct one. Don't throw all in at the same time unless you got many fishes that can finish them. Gouldian
does mysis shrimp look the same lik the sea monkey ?then how to keep the shrimp for futher usage? or throw all in at a time ? Sea Monkey is a marketing gimmick, they are actually Brine Shrimp! Adult Brine Shrimp do not provide enough nutritional values thus most reefers feed Baby Brine Shrimp. Mysis are Fresh Water Shrimps, they are reported to have higher nutritional values and plus due to the fact that they are Fresh Water, it is belive that they do not harbour parasites that will threaten Marine Fishes. timzhiquan
haha. most of our tangs do eat meaty foods.. can't help it if there are other fish in the tank. do remember to supplement its diet with some greens though.
