I admire that you actually took the effort to perchase sand that are truely "live" and know the importance of bio-filtration(that's what I call it)

But one point to note is that try not to overdo your equipments as in the future, you may find some really unnecessary.

Equipments are a must if one can afford it and also to help save the owner hassles of working extra hard to maintain the tank so that he can have extra time to admire his tank.

Just something to add, is 4xT5 the final configuration? Maybe its not enough, but then again, depends on what you are keeping.

Bro Blueheaven: Thanks for the advice. However, decided to opt for equipment rather than spending time maintaining the tank. This is based on current experience maintaining another 6ft tank.

Needed to embrace technology to provide me more time to admire the tank after a hard day work.

Bro Weisoon: Fully agreed with you as need more relaxing time infront of the tank. Presently lighting not sufficient and still waiting for 2 more T5x80W and one unit of Lunar Tracking moonllight with 10 LEDs to arrive.

Bro Ah^Siao: Yes, it is a Daeil 1/3HP Chiller even though I am a current owner of the Artica which is chilling my other 6ft tank. Saved some $$$ here to pay for the FR.

The tank was dressed up with a black cloth which I paid for $2.60 at Chong Pang market centre.

how many kg of LR u using..??

cause from the look as u mention u r going into half-fledged Berlin System.... u r way too little of LR as berlin depend very heavily on alot amount of LR and skimmer..

just to highlight to u incase u overlook it..

anyway great equipment u have there... sometime I wish I can redo my whole system again...

About 100Kg and still adding more as I walk down the street as it is damn difficult to find "good looking" virgin liverocks .....

icic.. 100kg is way too little for a Berlin System.. my 5ft already more then 100kg..

for your 6ft tank.. 200kg LR will be gd enough for Berlin System

Yes ... LR is not enough and agreed with you that about 200kg of LR should be enough to support a half-fledged Berlin System.

For the past two weeks been busy adding occupants in the tank and so far added several tangs in addition to some cleaner crews. Will post pcs of the fishes later.
