How to remove mini-anemone?

Anyone knows how to remove this tiny anemone in one of my liverocks? Its about a 20ct coin size and if I try to pluck it out, it shrivels into the crevice it is in... Got to remove it as it's stinging my octopus coral.... Can I just use scissors to snip it off?!

if u wanna kill it, use the old kalk paste injection method (normally used to exterminate aiptasia).

kalk paste or kalk solution? Would it excrete any toxics into the water column?

personally, i use kalk paste. juz aim properly with ur syringe. so far, it has worked for me getting rid of those pesky glass anemones.

Okie okie... will aim properly... seems like my tai-ko marksmanship during army days can finally come to good use.... I juz hope it doesn't release toxics into my water column...

since its small i dont think it will do much harm to your water.

Thats a Mojano Anemone.

You need to remove it fast because it spreads quickly

It don't multiple as fast lah..

All I did is to use a pincer and reach to the base of it and forcefully pull it out. Sometimes it shrink while doing that, but as long as you have a firm grip of it at the base you can remove it already.

Even if you tear it partially, it still regrow again.

Hmmm... sounds like gotta really exterminate it with some kalk paste....
