SRC Member Zero Oxygen Posted August 18, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2004 depends on what you are keeping first. why dont you tell us ur water parameters, then it is easier for the rest to help you

SRC Member Vinoth Posted August 18, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2004 What Zero Oxygen meant is ur ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, PH, DKH, Ca etc levels.
SRC Member surfedelic Posted August 18, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2004 If it is just soft coral - dont bother with other parameter - just go get ammonia, nitrite and nitrate testkit and measure .. -- the first 2 must be zero .. the last one ....debatable .... but at best not more than 10 ppm as soome coral can't take high nitrate. Good luck

SRC Member Nautical Posted August 18, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2004 go to PetMart and ask for a handy chart printed by Tropic Marine which gives all the optimal water parameters for PH, KH, Ca, etc etc. It is given free. may be other lfs have such a chart or something similar.
