$0.20 Food ring

Just sharing this simple DIY $0.20 food ring for the newbies.

The purpose of this ring is to prevent the frozen cubes or flakes or pellets from floating on the surface of the water and get wash down the overflow compartment too quickly before the fishes eat them.

1) Takeaway food container from hawker food centre - FREE

2) Suction cap from petmart* - $0.20

another method is to soak with garlic the flakes or food so it will sink.

I use styrofoam. Cut into a 4"x4" square shape with the middle hollow. It floats and always cling on the glass.
