thinking of selling MH

Hi i have 1 unit of ATMan 150w MH thinking of letting go. this is the MH that can either be hang on from the celling or stand on tank (both included). the either set with its parts are only 4 months old....

I have made quite a number of modificaitons that i hope is a improvement to the orgininal system.....

1) the original weight of the light was 10kg....what i did was to remove the ballast for the MH and connect it up externally...total weight was reduce to 3 kg (after some more improvement... )

2) changed the unknown taiwaness bulb to a Coral Light 10k bulb

3) upgraded the 2x24 PLL to 2x36w PLL, 1 blue and 1 10k bulb

4) orginal ballast for the PL was changed to electornic ballast thus reducing its weight further....

the total cost for the lights with all the modification is in excess of S$400++. Interested parties please PM me your offer. While i'm not expecting to get back the orginal $$$, please don't give me ridiculas offers....I try my best to reply to any REASONABLE requests....

the width is neatly 1 foot.....

really have no idea what price will move me... but i guess i'll consider anything 75% of its original value....ie >$300....

try not to insult me by offering below <S$250...

yea...go straight to MH.....save you lots of grief later....there are lots of pro and cons when selecting between commerical MH or DIY types....so do consider them carefully before making the purchase....

Guys.....its a good piece of equipment......especially the top portion of the MH.......ventilation is good..........I personally using a 5 footer, same brand, same model.

Tineng......I suggest that you proposed a price and repost.....or everybody will go for 250.......

thanks man...the casing is espicially good, given that i am able to place my hand on it for 1/2 min when the MH + PL is running, unlike the DIY types that is likely to leave a nasty burn mark on you.....this is very important if your tank is very low like mine and pretty often you will brush hand on it.....ok since everyone don't want to offer me a price...i'm starting the bidding at 300....

although, the 1 ft width may not fit with my tank's cover half closed...

1 ft width cover my whole tank, just that the gap between the MH and tank can fit my hand.......with mh you will need to consider open top, no matter how tough the plastic, it will still melt!!!! Also with a close hood, as your tank matures you will find your O2 level and PH decreasing.....so i wouldn't suggest having a close marine tank....
