So how to change to a plug that can fit into my power point? Which wire to which point of the local 3-pin plug? btw i already bought a 3-pin plug. You can get adaptors (available from most hardware stores) . Jus explain to the store owner that you have obtained equipment from abroad and needed a adaptor so you could use it locally... Would seriously advise you not to do that as that will viod the warranty of the item. That's if you bought it locally and was given 1 year or more warranty on the item. RockyBoy Posted August 16, 2004 Share Posted August 16, 2004 If there are 2 wires, use the left and right side of the 3-pin plug. The top part can be ignored. If there are 3 wires, the green/yellow is for the top part of the 3-pin plug. Btw i got this pump from another reefer here.. not sure have warranty or not... Connected the wire after some advice from fellow reefers. Run the pump and wow.. suck my sump dry .. cannot use full potential of the pump..haiz.. for all advices. Hope this would help other reefers when they have this suituation.
