Oh! Foreign talent again? Sigh......

he is a neutralized singaporean. not foreign talent. foreign talent is when you still hold on to your previous country's citizenship. neutralized singaporean is when you willingly drop it to supposedly embrace the colours of the singapore flag.

For Ronald Susilo, his reason for coming to Singapore was to pursue his studies. It's only during his secondary school days that he really focused on Badminton. So he cant really be considered a foreign talent. Singapore dindn't employ him here to play Badminton for us.

But what's wrong with foreign talents? Half of France's soccer team players are not originally from France. Most are from Africa! But when France won the World Cup, who was opposing the notion on foreign talents?

that, is a bit different.

the places where they come from, from Zidane to Viera to Thuram....all countries originally governed/controlled by the French. so technically, they are of French descent.

which is why people like Juan Sebestian Veron for example, can play in the Eu without any restrictions because his grandparents were of Eu heritage, thereby giving them the rights to lawfully take up citizenship from that specific country his grandparents originated from. another good example would be Ryan Giggs, whose grandparents were of English descent and not welsh. although he chose to play for Wales instead.

the list goes on for players that fall within this line of catergorization

Sigh.. .. he doesn't look like he is in the mood to play the second game with Pak. The shots look so casual like friendly match ..I thought I was watching a game with one person playing .... pak dive here ...dive there ...and our dear hero gave all the point away with offside shots .....I think he lost his form - can be better.
