Heavy skimming, good lighting and flow... are normal accepted principles... while Ca at 500, dHK 12, mg 1500, pH 8.4, PO4< 0.01 also conceivable ... but a tank with bare bottom??? Wonder if that's by choice or not ....'cause it so crowded there how is he ever gonna get to the bottom... for all you know it could be an Italian preference for bare bottoms.... : )
