not really... considering that the coral cat shark grows to a max of 2ft or less... the only worry would be for my bamboo... but he's only 6" now... so no worry...

What kind of filtration are you using to keep up with the high bioload of the tank? U hardly have any bio filtration with the lack of LR and LS, what is stopping ur ammonia, nitrites and nitrates from going off the roof?

Sorry...if i may sound rude saying this but i personally think that u are pushing it with this tank. A coral cat shark should be in a tank with a minimum of 6 feet in length to house it for life. Imagine someone stickin u in a say 8 x 8 feet room for life? Don't think u'd be too happy....same deal with puttin a 2 feet shark in a 3 feet tank. No doubt the shark is not full grown yet...but even so, the 3 feet length isn't going to be sufficient taking into account that part of the tank is already preoccupied by an eel and rocks etc...doesn't leave it much room to roam. And ur thinking of adding more eels??

just my personal opinion.........

Tank 66"x27"x28" - Return Pump Red Dragon 12m3 - Skimmer Deltec AP701 - Chiller Starmex - Wavemakers Wavysea - Lighting DE 6 x T5-HO
