if you are going to let the tank do very well...might want to consider biological filter besides the mechanical ones.

I would suggest A LOT more rocks if you intend to go BERLIN style.

You have a airstone driven skimmer. Very impt for waste extract.

I used to own a snowflake...high bioload....needs good filter medium besides the overhead filter.

Frequent water change will be needed if your skimmer is not able to cope

hmmm...snowflake with shrimps and damsel....looks like swimiming buffet ....

hopes he leaves them alone.

These eels are hardy....but you got to remember the place they come from..they have no issues with nitrate...most marine fishes dun do well when ammonia and nitrate level is too high ....

Thanks for all the comments so far...

decided to go without sand after advice from my "shi fu". And well.... i dun really like sand. :P

So far he's too well fed to bother about the cleaners in the tank. He eats 2 market prawns per feeding...

Yea... thinkin of more live rocks if i'm to add another eel or 2...

Bio filtration? Could i be enlightened on what kind that would be. I dont really understand the diff between bio and mech.

Bty, anyone has seen this kinda zebra moray variant?

Mech filtration is to remove particles from the water like your overhead filter. Bio-filtration is to help reduce ammonia and nitrites to nitrates - eg trickle filter with bio-balls, live rocks, etc. Your skimmer removes proteins, etc from the water.

From looks of the set-up, can do with more bio filters. Also aesthetically, more LR would make the tank look nicer... ;)
