i want to haf a swimming pool of 30ft X 50ft X 50ft converted to tank :D

then import large chunks of LR of abt 20ft X 10ft. one each from red sea, indo-pacifuc, aussie, fiji, phillipines...

then put in all the rocks in the swimming tank :D then put all types of fish that i like (abt 1000 species) into the tank in pairs...

will take scuba diving trips into the tank daily to feed.

will hire marine biologists to take care of the tank.

estimated cost: US$100 billion...will nvr happen...

but still, post ur dream tanks here. it would be so fun!

I'll just buy over the Great Barrier Reef and charge people $50 just to go pass it, be it flying over it or boating over it.

multiply by x1000 if you want to dive in it.

ah.

with the money made, I'll build my house underwater to enjoy the view of the reef.

since this idea will surely sell like hotcakes, I'll probably earn enough money to buy over all the reefs in the world. and build houses underwater. and view them in privacy whilst doing something along the lines of pro-creating.

My tank will be 50ft x 50ft x 50ft.... maintained by a group of ###### babes donning kinky g-strings and scallop shell bra...

Imagining them in the tank scrubbing the algae..or smearing their body with fish feed and letting the little critters nip her all over... :yeah:

Hey, come to think about it.... that's bwilly's dream tank and not mine....

Nay, I'm juz contented with the 5 foot that I am going to have... hehe...

My tank would span the entire length of the east coast. It would have different areas where different ecosystems would occur. There would be one section dedicated to mangroves with fiddler crabs and mudskippers..followed by a section with seagrass bed habitat with seahorses, alligator pipefish and maybe even a few dugongs..next would be the largest section of the tank..the coral reef section..where the rockwork is shaped such that the water gets deeper and deeper..with light demanding sps on the shallower shelves and LPS and soft corals in the deeper regions. Will mix in some deepwater species such as lanternfish and nautilus.. Next section would be the pelagic section where I can house hopefully marlins and swordfishes, dolphins, blue fin tuna, hammerhead sharks... Seawater will all be pumped in from the neighboring sea.. Charge each visitor a $15 entrance fee. And give them the option to buy anything which fits their fancy. And for maintainence of the tank...I shall do it all by myself... Best to die maintaining the love of your life..

Always something more important than fish.

i always have this recurring dream of my dream tank. its the size of a tennis court and 3 storeys high and it contains a giant kelp forest with a few ocean sunfish swimming around . in my dream i have gills and i swim among the trees everyday . and the water is really really cold and i live underwater , the only place i can ever find peace . i swear to god one day if i have the cash i will build this .

I even dreamt that either we can breathe in water or fish can fly. Fish and man live together. Well, actually my dream tank is a 6 ft 'edge of reef' tank. My next project. Estimate start time of project? Someday.

I think (marine) therefore I am

i have been wanting a home theatere room. So, my dream tank would be part of the home theatere room.

8ftx2ftx2ft tank x3 of them. Built into the wall. So, I'll only see 3x8ft glasses. Front will be a projector screen. All the 3x8ft tanks are linked up via pipes. Will have 2hp air-cond compressor as the chiller. And... best of all... since i'll have 3 tanks connected, i can have SPS for tank 1 LPS for tank2 and Exotic fishes for tank 3.

2 of the tanks will act as partition to my dining hall and Living Hall. It'll be a see through tank.

Hope to be able to achieve this in the future....
