Tips to tune your Macro skimmer

I think it have to depends on different tank specs and water pressure.

When I switch to neokn way of adjusting the water valve and air valve, I have opposite results from his.

I'm using the Skimmer on my nano 2ft tank with water level just touching the bottom of the first screw hole at the bottom, in front of the skimmer.

For those wanting to incorporate the air valve into your prizm skimmer, I think you have to trial and error on different amount of air intake and water intake for your tank water volume and pressure.

The water level(directly affect your pump suction head pressure) and air intake are very crucial, concentrate on keeping the water level constant and just play around with the air valve.

p/s: Water Salinity also plays a part, the higher the salinity, the easier the bubbles stays afloat due to the Specific Gravity.

You keep your water level at the O-ring at the throat of the collection cup right?

And you only allow bubbles to reach that low a level?

I don't have any more micro mist bubbles anymore though after some tuning
