skimmer

I've bought a Euroreef skimmer, being running it for almost a month now but it not collecting anything? checked with few people already, the water level is about 1.5 ft in my slump..and everything set according to the seller. really donno what esle I can do, but fortunately all Live stock is still OK.

Can any reefers out there help me if this problem ?

yes! its used, the pump seems to be working fine, sorry no dc...

its creating foam at around the neck level, but its not collecting anything inside the cup..hmmm...and with the tuning, I've put the pipe to the max level...

will try and borrow an d.c and give a better view of the situation.

Hmm give the skimmer a few days to break in loh. Maybe your water is too clean and got nothing for the skimmer to skim? If the problem persists for more then 4 days, i suggest you bring the skimmer back to your dealer.

Hehe thats the correct thing to do... but did he gave you a replacement skimmer?

I am having some problems with my new macro skimmer too... just started using it yesterday evening (16 Aug Monday) and there is not even any bit of foam yet... perhaps something I did wrong?

nah...no replacement, being running my tank without any skimmer for the last 3 days, the no3 is at 100, going to change 20-30% of water today, but all LS is still ok...anyway going to pick up my skimmer from the shop tonite.
