Anyone using Powershot S1 IS?

Very tempted to get this camera but dont know if it is good.

Please comment on the zoom and macro capability. If can show some tank shot that is even better.

I think G2 not bad too.

The only problem is that it uses only rechargeable battery. I prefer to use camera that uses off the shelf batteries. I am currently using Ixus V2 and I really hate it when my camera run out of batteries when I am out diving.

I am using it. IMO, its an excellent camera, only drawback is the 3.2megapix. But if you dun mind that, the features are pretty outstanding. I used it on my recent trip to the US and took like 1000 photos in the places i visited and the photos turned out sharp with brilliant colours.

Features like 10X optical zoom is amazing, can zoom into anything you want, the image stabilizer allowed me to take sharp photos even when i was rocking on a boat. Unlike previous models, there is no standard macro function, you set your own settings for that. For its price, its a pretty good value camera... just my 2 cents and my own experience with it.
