I am a weekend family driver and weekend is family days for us. I will try to throw out all the work and stay with my family. I will rush back to SG from outstation friday night.

However seem that my kids want more attention from me. New generation ?

Here is what I have to share.

One sunday on the way for lunch after my daughter ballet class, my daughter asked me the question, in the car.

"Daddy, it seem that only a few daddy sent their daughter to ballet class. Most are Mommy sent them and fatch them. What happened to their Daddy"

So here was my reply ( STANDARD )

"I guess their Daddy is busy"

To fall of the chair and seeing my wife's "SEE , SEE, SEE" face from the back mirror, this is what my daughter said.

"Oh you mean, their Daddy has FISH TANK TOO".

She is only 6+.

well, i'm not someone else"s father .. but i'm someone's son.. i realised that i have neglect my mum since i have my fish tank ... and at the beginning, even quarrel with her over my fish tank .. just becos she din like it in my room ..

but i took a turn in it, i involed her in my new found hobby .. i bring her to do fish shopping with me .. teach her how to takecare of my fishes and corals.. and took her advise to put the fish tank in the garden area...

and after that .. we found ourself talking bout fishes some time in the morning before i go to work ..

well reefers .. hobby maybe hobbys... but wat comes first should be the more important things in life ... and not marine tank ..

marine tank is important.. but how much do they weigh when u compare them to ur family ..

I just back from my usual one week outstation trip and my tank was in the mass as my wife doen't know how to take care :(

So after changing I start putting my hand to the tank

And

My daughter who is 6 yrs old steering at me and.......................

Well I did kiss her first b4 I enter to the house and Sat/Sun is family day. In family day, I don't visit LFS nor put hand to the tank ( other than feeding and after they fall asleep ).

But most of the time , I feel greedy

and now a day i don't even play golf once a month, used to be 3 times a week.

I guess I spent too much time with Reef. No work in office everytime reading reading reading ....

because my Chemistry is really bad, I fail my Chemistry in A level :(

I only know 2H2O is water :)
