French aren't known for good quality cars. The cars are not reliable, just like the French.

End of the day, it is a personal preference.

Everyone have their personal opinions. Read the car review with a pinch of salt and follow what you want out of a car.

Low FC is good to have if you travel a lot (When I say a lot means you are a salesman/ property agent or anyone that rely on a car for your rice bowl).

If you are like me, go to work, park the car for 8-10 hours and go home. Only weekend chiong!. FC not a big concern for me.

Maybe for a couple (and their dogs) it's good but not for a whole family (2 kids and their dogs).

:D:D:D

I'm happy with the Jazz; its scalability in carrying capacity does come in handy for someone who is moving into a new apartment. It can fit a 6 foot ladder easily, and some others. Manage to put in a 4x3x1.5ft tub as well. (Contractor in one trip,a fishmonger in another  )

I manage an average 16km/L, depending on road conditions (basically stop-and-go)and load. Engine seems rather quiet and smooth, not lacking in power at all.

Only drawback is that it does not seem to have an autolock function when you turn the ignition, or even when the car is already cruising. Not that we can't press that little button by the side though.

Generally a good family/utility car which is easy on the pockets.

The only good associate with the word "French" - French Kiss ... French Fries ....

At the end of the day - if you want reliability - don't even look at european cars ...

Did a survey the number one cars most prone to failure are 1) SAAB 2) Volvo ... 3) BM ... puegoet ... renault and citroen ...are of the same categories .. nice to see but lot of minor problems after the second and third year. The Puegoet 307 looks good, after 2 years you will discover the brakes doesn't kick in so neatly ... and acceleration not as smooth at least this is what my friend told me after getting a brand new 307 .... they have many awards also ... so beware ... every cars always claimed that they have this awards and they have that awards ... but it is mainly marketing talks. Even StarAuto - is giving up trying to support puegoet becasue there too many freaking problem (or have they given up alraedy - not sure of the latest ) ... I know a few guys working in ST engineering getting 10 % discount for all puegoet cars ... they chose japanese cars nevertheless.

For your info only, of all european cars , the benz is the only cars that you can obtain the uncommon parts locally and reliability without any delay becasue the headquarter is in Singapore, otherwise prepared to wait 2 to 3 months..... this is what i know so far from a friend from Diamler Chrysler. Of course there are good things with the Euro cars - it is up to you to find out ;)

the locking mechanism when the engine is started/the first time you press the brake pedals/drive above 30km/h is an extra function that your car alarm gives.

you may want to add it as an add-on, or change the alarm completely to enjoy such a....mechanism. (=

One word of caution, don't buy Toyota vios E.

Read below and you will understand...

A married couple is driving along a highway doing a steady forty miles per hour.

The wife is behind the wheel. Her husband suddenly looks across at her and speaks in a clear voice. "Darling," he says. "I know we've been married for twenty years, but I want a divorce."

The wife says nothing, keeps looking at the road ahead but slowly increases her speed to 45 mph. The husband speaks again. "I don't want you to try and talk me out of it,"he says, "because I've been having an affair with your best friend, and she's a far better lover than you are."

Again the wife stays quiet, but grips the steering wheel more tightly and slowly increases the speed to 55. He pushes his luck. "I want the house," he says insistently.

Speed Up to 60.

"I want the car, too," he continues.

Speed Up to 65 mph.

"And," he says, "I'll have the bank accounts, all the credit cards and the boat."

The car slowly starts veering towards a massive concrete bridge.

This makes him a wee bit nervous, so he asks her: "Isn't there anything you want?"

The wife at last replies - in a quiet and controlled voice. "No, I've

got everything I need." she says.

"Oh, really?" he inquires, "so what have you got?" Just before they slam into the wall at 75 mph, the wife turns to him and smiles.

"The airbag."

Never underestimate how a woman thinks.

Moral of the story don't buy Toyota VIOS E as it has only one airbag.

The husband sure die laa and wife will get everything.

Came across the Wish club by chance a few weeks back. After reading it, thought it's quite a good car, so decided to purchase it.

'Spice' up the car? Don't think so. My dad will be using it more often, don't think he wants it to be 'spiced' up.
