SRC Member SharkBait Posted August 17, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted August 17, 2004 Is it just me or does the flow become stronger once you take out the blue air inlet at the back?

Sponsor Michael Young Posted August 17, 2004 Sponsor Share Posted August 17, 2004 Is it just me or does the flow become stronger once you take out the blue air inlet at the back? Removing that air valve should increase flow because that hole would allow more water (as oppose to air if used with an air tube) to be suck in. auberon
Using a Seio M820 for my 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.5. Good stuff! Open the blue air valve and minimise the flow on the front end. Keep good circulation. Still had to bounce the of the side glass. Drop a spoonful of miracle mud and you'll see it swriling round the tank! SRC Member Nautical Posted September 24, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted September 24, 2004 i have a 820 for my 3 x 2 x 1.5 feet tank. pretty satisfied with its performance. in fact, a week ago, bought another unit of 820 but yet to commission it. will commission the 2nd unit this weekend. somehow, intention is to let the water movements clash to create a mini turbulence which will be good for lfs, corals and any dead spots.
