Hi Avy,

Only Metal Halid Lamps give out "ripple effects". So the answer for T5 is no.

Yes Reflector could be DIY to fit into light housing but again depending on the type of housing...

i'm goin to purchase the T5HO DIY set from aquaZ.

i'm wondering if 2 x 24W enough for a 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 ft tank ? mostly LPS and shrooms.

2) does aquaZ 20,000k look very blue ? shall i get 2 x 20,000k or 10,000k will be clear enough ?
