Correct me if I'm wrong, but i do not think Biophos is used for this function.

You can:

1) Improve skimming

2) Use GAC

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

I think it has to do with your skimmer and filteration system.

I am using Biophos too. After the initial addition, the water will turn yellowish for less than 15 mins. Subsequently, you will see a increase in skimmate in the skimmer. That's how your PO4 is reduced.

NEW Water is actually RO water right?

Jurong uses different water? Never heard of that. But not saying it's not true, I myself dunno.

NEWATER IMHO does not come to us directly in taps (not yet anyway). It is used for industrial purposes (machine cooling, wafer fabrication etc) and is also introduced into our reservoirs to mix with rainwater before processing for domestic use. The Americans have been using this method for years and seems ok. Apparently raw RO water has zero minerals, which is actually less healthy to drink than the water we normally get.

Be teachable always, nobody has a monopoly on wisdom. But learn to distinguish "fact" from "opinion".
