Would appreciate if those who use polyfilter can tell me wat is the difference between that and the normal cheaper wool filters that most of us use? I notice that it is quite ex does the price justify the effectiveness? I am using cannisters for my tank and would like to try if it is much more effective than normal wool filters.

also can it be used over and over again or must be thrown away after a while??? thxx :thanks:

read the packaging when u drop by a LFS that sells it. unlike normal filter wool, it absorbs toxins, copper, certain trace elements, etc...... it will change color after a while. and when it is black u can change to a new pc. ;)
