yo,check your nitrate and phosphate levels mate.phos and nitrates are fuel for algae.doing a water change with RO water should lessen the problem,or u can try phosphate removers.

First check your phosphate level. Using rowaphos/contraphos will reduce the level of phosphate. When used with fludised Reactor, its very effective.

algae on ur tank can be due to loads of reasons. PO4, NO3, long photo-period, high nutrients, overfeeding, etc.
