I realise that I the reddish tinge and purplish tinge of colour on the live rocks have faded and become pale... why is that so?? Is it because my tank is still in the cycling period? Must I add any chemicals to the water to enhance the colour of rocks??

Sorry for asking so many questions in one short!! new to this marine hobby and getting more and more excited...

BTW, I have oso find a fan worm growing in one of the live rocks. Will it die of during the cycling period?.. (i hope not... i kinda like this creature... shrinks to its hole when i look at it... :P ) pls advise. thks :D
