SRC Member shootsimon Posted October 24, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted October 24, 2005 Hi Bob noticed your flooring is laminated. Was adviced by my contractor to best remove it. You will find the flooring bumpy due to the weight of the tank with all LS in. You can get the contractor to cut the laminate flooring to fit your cabinet. Finished the edge with skirting for a more finished look. But that is if you intend to have the tank there permenently. Just my thoughts. Have personal seen damages done to some of our bros with laminated floorings. Very unsightly. Had mine cut out to fit my tank. No more worries

SRC Member shootsimon Posted October 25, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted October 25, 2005 Think best get back the one who did your flooring. They should know what to do plus your laminated flooring should be warrantied for life time. It will be void if you get a third party to do changes to it
