SRC Member Ancelot Posted December 21, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted December 21, 2004 Yup ,also found out the hard way when it shed & did not extent its polyp for 3 days, Landed on the staghorn & that's it. Had to frag it out to save the rest.80% gone liao. Could not bear to let go the gregorian as its been with me for about 3 years already. i heard frm a reefer abt something like tat. But for him, its the other way round. The slime frm bird nest killed his sea fans by encoating the fan polyps' with the slime. wonder if its cause of the same reason?? If it is the other way round,it would be easy cause can use a sisscors to cut the affected part.

SRC Member Bob Posted August 27, 2005 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 27, 2005 Hi Lester, Going to do transfering from exsisting tank of mix reef. The other compartment is for resun 650 chiller.Would probably take the door out for ventilation purpose.Skimmer using insump type.
