help in keeping sun coral

hi..... hmm.. sun coral only opens in the night time..... and since sun corals are azooxanthellae(it does not photosynthesis to produce food like most corals).... it will most probably die of hunger... try feeding it with chopped prawns......

Maybe the following may help... :)

1) They need moderate current

2) Doesn't matter about lighting. Infact, not within the glare of metal halides if you using mhs

3) Keep them away from frogspawns, hammers, torch and octospawns. They will sting polyps one by one until the poor suns became 'botak'

4) To feed them, you can actually use a syringe, a pipette or a turkey baster and just squirt a bit of cyclopeeze or similar stuff on top and wait a few minutes at the most

5) When the polyps open, then you feed with the remaining of the food or minute pieces of shrimpmeat or similar foods

6) if they still dun open, dun worry...just do the same for a few days, your diligence will be rewarded. :)
