oh

terrible!!!

nitrate test solutions are corrosive in nature

which usuallt means its either very acidic or alkaline.

quickly do a ph test and access the situation

in my opnion....do a 90%water change

i do agree that test kits r either very acidic or alkaline, but i disagree wif doing a immediate 90% water change. it will be too much stress for the fishes or corals in the tank. will lead to shock and die-off.

juz me 2 cents, wonder if anyone else agrees? pls help chinmo quick!!! :o

better do a water change now. hurry!!! MHO, will be 25% and dump in GAC, but if u choose to do 50 or 90% water change, i hv nothing to say. i hv said what i felt.

All the more you should take immediate action else the chemical might be absorb by your LR and then you will waste all the LR. LR maybe more expensive than corals and fishes IMO.
