I found him in the LR since day 1 and getting bigger and bigger , now about 1 1/2". My 4 gobys gone MIA once introduced ( 4 weeks ago ), found only fins, so some one murder them.

I think he is the only UO in the tank.

Pls help me to id this guys and advise me whether to flush him from toilet.

Oh he like to make sound like craping , and he like to bite me, not painful rather like electronic shock.

Catch it as quickly as you can as it's a real murderer.

Once you catch it, pierce it with a satay stick and deep fry it.

The Mantis Shrimp is one of the top most wanted pest in a marine aquarium.

I myself has spent all my life trying to catch these buggers in my tank, and here you are asking if you should catch or leave it if? LOL

I got a small Mantis caught by me a month back...now it's in my sump in a container. Killed 2 of my Juvenile BT.

Anyway Mantis is also eaten in Thailand. Big ones that goes 3-4".

Hmmmm, sound like no1 want him and he is not ###### guy. So no choice I have to drive all the way to east coast to let him go. My god, petrol price is up and seem to me that need to waste 5$ for not killing a shrimp.

Anyway, I don't like to kill any animal or any life, so I have no choice.

But this guys killed my 4 gobys costed me almost 20$ heeee, I should have listen my wife advise that to take him out from the tank

I had seen a documentary while on a SQ flight about mantis schrimps. They have 2 drum-like claws and when clocked (as in clocking a gun/rifle) and let go, it releases a punch of more than 60 pounds (if my memory serve me well) of force upon impact !! Enough to stun/kill any LS or possibly break thin glass, as shown in the documentary.

This may point you to the murderer of your gobies.

Not sure if documentary still on KrisWorld. Saw it last month.

60 punds ? U could be right. I use bamboo chopstick to hit him and he punch ONCE which shake whole bamboo chopstick aswell my fingers. Sound loud as well.

Cannot remember which flight. I travel almost every week to everywhere ! Sometimes went to wrong hotel room which room number was my previous trip

Think all SQ flights has the same programs. Very suffering to watch same movies every sector.

Haa haa, I though i am worsth here, I travelled only 3 times a month, so left 1 to 2 week back in SG, u travel more than I do .

Normally I will sleep whenever I board the plane so boring on board.

But next trip, I will watch it. Hope not changed yet.

Oh may be some of our reefer who are driver who drive BIG BUS, 372 passengers on board and HIGHLY PAID will able to help us , whether it's still on air:D

Would this fella attacked anemone shrimp? Cause 1 of my anemone shrimp is now missing.

I use to hear clipping sound from my tank but nowsaday I don't hear it. Does that mean that the fella isn't dead already?

2 Clipping sounds means Pistrol Shrimp,

1 Loud clipping sounds mean this killers.

I still hear 2 clipping sound, but no more 1 loud sound, after I remove this killer.

I am thinking of placing this killer in the sump ( 1st Section ). Since it's live and don't want to waste petrol yet.

Any suggetsion ?

Its a mantis shrimp, if you come by punggol, just drop it inside my sump :-)
