Hi

recently, some white sponge-like growth appeared in my tank.

They looked like tiny sea fans with fingers. They growing from my life rocks and porous surfaces.

Another creature that suddently appear is a snail-like animal that comes out at night. It is whitiesh in color, has 2 feeders (antenna?) and eats my nusiance brown algae. If I shine a light on its top, it appears neon blue, much like topaz stones from Australia and New Zealand.

Anyone know what are these new comers?

Thanks!

Would help if you could take a pix so we can help ID them for you!

Is your snail-like creature without a shell? Then it's probably a nudibranch or a stomatella (shell-less snail).

The tiny seafan with fingers are probably a species of featherduster worms.
